Model United Nations is far more than a simulation of international diplomacy — it is a platform that empowers young minds to think critically, engage in meaningful dialogue, and develop solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges. It encourages individuals to step beyond boundaries, embrace diverse perspectives, and grow into informed and responsible global citizens.

In a world increasingly shaped by geopolitical tensions, rapid technological advancement, and evolving global challenges, the importance of dialogue, cooperation, and innovative policymaking has never been greater. This year’s conference theme, “Advancing a Cooperative World Order: Multipolarity, Institutional Reform, and Policy Innovation for Global Stability,”
reflects the urgent need for nations to work collectively in navigating an ever-changing international landscape.

As the Secretary-General of TTBSMUN 2026, it is truly an honour to lead a conference that strives to uphold the values of diplomacy, collaboration, and intellectual excellence. Our aim this year is to create an environment where delegates feel inspired to debate confidently, negotiate constructively, and challenge themselves both academically and personally.
Whether you are an experienced delegate or attending your very first MUN conference, I encourage you to make the most of this opportunity. Speak fearlessly, listen thoughtfully, and engage wholeheartedly in every discussion. Beyond resolutions and awards, MUNs leave us with invaluable experiences, lifelong memories, and skills that extend far beyond committee rooms. Beyond committee sessions and formal debate, I hope this conference becomes a space where friendships are formed, ideas are exchanged, and perspectives are broadened.

The Secretariat and Executive Board have worked tirelessly to ensure that TTBSMUN 2026 is an enriching, professional, and memorable experience for every participant. I sincerely hope that this conference serves as a space for productive debate, meaningful connections, and personal growth.
